TELEMARK
TELEMARK is not a traditional plan, it’s more of a vision of the feeling. It proposes hospitality as complementing theme to enliven the Lahti Sports Center. The overall solution is based on two axes: the sports street and the rainwater park. The plan presents as minimal construction as possible, while meeting the objectives of the competition. New multi-purpose arena and water sports center are integrated to the Isku Areena site. Location of the outdoor swimming pool and the Sports hotel create a active and inviting urban environment for locals, guests and tourists. TELEMARK is finished with sustainable preservation, greenery and circular economy solutions as well as fresh contemporary architecture.
