Kära Gård
Kära Gård is a modular play of a simple form, which creates a character easy to recognize by the visitors. At the same time, with its clear architectural appearance, it settles down in the challenging environment combining remarkable cultural historical layers and natural values. The architectural concept is based on the classical form of an equilateral triangle. Triangle-shaped module system not only gives a clear and strong identity to the archipelago’s recreational services, but also enables a wide range of variations concerning the base form and scale. One main basis in the design is the implementation of the principles of circular economy, through the whole life cycle of the buildings. All the structures are designed easy to move, dis- and reassemble, with non-toxic materials.
