Inspired by Finland’s historic ironworks villages, our concept transforms a small-scale industrial area into a vibrant mix of old and new. Existing buildings are preserved, while green corridors, meadows, and gardens create spaces rich in biodiversity and seasonal life. Stormwater is celebrated through ponds, boardwalks, and plantings that invite both people and nature. A pedestrian and cycling route weaves together living, leisure, circular economy, and urban farming in a resilient and inclusive environment.
