Anttila farming is a suggestive area characterized by a deep relationship between natural and cultural environment. The rural and urban areas are developed and preserved, transforming Anttila in an attractive, self-productive place, where residential housings, productive and touristic activities coexist. Generating a circular system, every action is connected to another, starting from the waste-to-resource systems, renewable energy, recycle of materials and promote local food production.
The project aims to guarantee a flexible usage of the spaces according to the seasons, providing the right structure to value the existing environment, giving an adequate use of the surroundings. This versatility is encountered in the villagers’ approach, growing a natural sense of community.
