Circular community Tuusula

The reactivation of the area is achieved through productivity, community and circular economy. Activity poles are created and linked through a red pedestrian path enhanced by agricultural, cultural and recreational activities. The coexistence of food production, services and housing respect Tuusula’s inherent identity and existing features. By the formalization of the project, the current topography and the nature of the site are respected while refurbishing the buildings that are meant to be preserved. The housing plots form clusters that have the purple of fostering cooperation amongst residents and creating community.
