The design proposal of Anttila productive village is concentrating on a development of an active local centre, where production and services are combined with living function. Following Tuusula’ Municipality’s policy of growth through densification in future, Anttila, located just 3 km from Hyrylä, will obtain the importance of the local centre of productive living.

Anttila village will carry on the tradition of local farming with the focus on small-scale food production and plant breeding. The fields surrounding the new village will be integrated into the farming processes. In addition, artist residences and smaller business premises are provided to revitalise the artistic community of Tuusula.
