In Turku the walk through the Vähäheikkilä competition area begins in the built-up parts of the project site and continues toward the more open, undeveloped areas. The video includes a presentation by the site representatives, along with Q&A’s. We got to see the areas to be renewed, open areas to add something more… water running in the ditch, and also the areas where it could be brought up from the pipes and make something nice out if it – celebrate it! The site visit in Lahti took place just after a picturesque spring snowfall, adding a nice seasonal touch to the unique landscape…. Along the tour, several questions are addressed, and at the conclusion, site representatives nicely summarise the competition’s objectives. Additionally, supplementary videos showcase various approach routes to the competition area from different directions, providing context to the project / competition site.
